And here's your host... Louis!
Yes! After a long enough hiatus I have made a return to the cyberstage again to make another edition of this excuse of a blog (no, not really, but please read on).
I realise I said this would be done in a week. Boy how wrong I was. After getting two jobs for Summer my time for blogging and that has been diminished somewhat. But I hope this post is long enough to make up for the wait.
First up, it's Christmas! The time of year the weather down here gets a little too unbearable and we all wish it was Winter again.
And my main focus this holiday season was using my free time wisely, and waking up at 5. No biggie.
Of course presents were just as hard to purchase as any other year, and I along with numerous other people that came into Harvey Norman today have not quite got around to finishing the gifting process off (I will add that I am writing this at about midnight on Christmas Day!). But in complete reversal to previous years I got around morally obligatory barriers and wrote my own list of things I wanted. Although my observation was that the older you get, the more expensive the gifts get (especially for males), I am not that hard to buy a cheap present for, apparently.
Then we have the holiday movies that get repeated every year on the T.V., and the comedy specials, and the sitcom specials, then the complaints from people saying it gets too commercial or something.
Considering that Santa was an invention from Coca Cola, I don't know what to think. Oh wait, whoops. Sorry kiddies, forgot the spoiler alert.
Now let's talk about asparagus.
Done.
Moving on... I have been selected for the RA team after all. Oh wait, did I say that already? Man, it's been so long since I posted, it's hard to keep track of what I have and haven't said.
So assuming I haven't, um, yeah... I got a position. I start pretty much as soon as February starts. Enough about that.
We have a pool at home... goody. Since I keep getting hounded about planning a pool party in the summer, I guess I'd better start thinking about it then. January, anyone?
And then Jennie and Dad got married.- While in Fiji they eloped (if that is the correct usage of the term). Photos and that are available direct from the supplier, and their movie tie-in and novel adaption are available Wednesday.
Now for something originally intended for December 5, but I er, forgot...
Does March 15, 2011 mean anything special to anyone? No? Okay, didn't think so. But in some mental way I'm testing whether I am in fact physchic or not (no, don't browse away, hear me out). You see, over the last few years I'd been thinking that I was experiencing deja vu too much since I'd kinda felt like I'd seen or experience something before... you know the drill. So a few years back I decided to remember at least one little detail and write it down, and as luck would have it, it was a date from several years in the future. There is now 81 days left at the time of this writing, and I have no clue about whether something will indeed happen, or if it will be a complete bust. Either way it'll be interesting to find out, and I'll even take the trouble to set up an automatic panic system on this blog should something happen. But apart from that, I'm still normal.

BAM! My first vlog entry!
"Wait, what?!" Aha... thought you'd ask.
I thought I'd give this ol' YouTube thing a test run... essentially all the popular videos have stuff in common that I tried to emulate... apart from the good-looking person in the camera and the decent content.
My first topic... YouTube videos. Uhh, yeah. A YouTube video about YouTube Videos.
So onwards and upwards from here, I guess. The honeymoon period's over for this blog now... time to get serious with content, and speaking of, WHAT DO YOU GUYS WANT TO READ??!!
I'll be back for New Years. See you then. Merry Christmas.
