Japanese pop culture lesson: KY stands for kuuki ga yomenai. It's a term used to describe someone that (literally) cannot read the current situation, i.e. a half-strength version of someone socially clueless... maybe. It doesn't have an official English translation, so that's the best I could come up with. You want examples? Sure.
This week has been a full on study week. However during the weekend I tried mixing it up with other 'activities', but that was okay. Instead, I got distracted by my Dad's girlfriend pulling out a USB webcam, and my sister, no wait... Miss Five loaded up MSN messenger and started chatting to her boy friend, that is, a friend that is a boy. Not to be confused with boyfriend. Two different words, okay?
Anyway, the KY thing of Miss Six to come along and do was join in to the (to Miss Six, anyway) supposedly 'public' conversation that Miss Five was having. What made it worse was that Miss Six was asking more questions that could be regarded as 'private' that Miss Five! Miss Six may now be upgrade from attention seeker to desperate attention seeker. No, seriously. Miss Five and I invite freinds over each holidays, and her attitude completely changes, and she acts as if she's known them as long as we have. As soon as visitors shut the front door on the way out, it's back to a crabby sister watching T.V..
Example 2: When you show (or maye... link) to a video or your... shall we say... blog, and then hear the words "that's boring" being said to someone else when the original linker is standing five feet away!
Anyway, I'm graduating tomorrow, big woot, but then I've got exams, six to be exact. And on top of that I have a scholarship to post off tomorrow. In fact I should go and do that now. But not before I tell you about...
What I'm watching: Actor Christopher Walken reads the lyrics to Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" on the Johnathan Ross Show.
Be sure to check back in my uploads section in a fortnight or so; we'll be making a music video with the same song, but with altered lyrics as a project (Bought to you by $1.20 Productions).

I have been distracted from my editing of travel manuals by my boyfriend's son's recommended Jonathan Ross clip. Oh NO! I have watched one minute of You Tube when aforementioned boyfriend's son has already used the allocation AND some. Walken is not a politician at all but an actor. Funny clip. Talking of editing..... want to re-read your blog?
