Real! Life! Misfortune!

Sorry about the weak game show reference in the title, it'll make more sense later. For all of you keeping track out there, only 9 days until NCEA exams start. And my senior prizegiving/graduation is this Thursday...
So to recap the last week: Saturday was the day of my Calculus exam. The effort to get myself to the station on time resulted in the afternoon turning into a really mild action sequence: Main character missed the train due to unforseen circumstance (one of the only two sets of traffic lights decided not to work, causing chaos at the State Highway 1 intersection), so he panics, pays the driver $10 to drive south down the highway in order to catch up to the train, because if he doesn't, he'll miss... his... exam?
That is what you could have interpreted the senario as, if your mind seems to make life more interesting than it actually is.
Long story short, I make it to the campus with time to spare, and sit the exam. None of the questions look too unfamiliar, which is great news. Hope I get another A grade...
I lost out to a Kapiti Coast Civic Award, again for the fourth consectutive time. Instead, the Year 13 Male category award goes to... Cody Packer, a student that sits about two desks across from me at form time. Irony? Possibly. I'm not quite sure, i'll look it up.
Guy Fawkes Night! Can't believe I completely forgot about that yesterday. If only the neighbours remembered too; they're busy launching $100 dollars worth of gunpowder off as I type.
With the last week of college in sight, the Head Student team (which I also missed out on last year) has sent out the 'themes' for "dress-up week". Toga day (such a cliché), Kiwiana day, "When I was little, what did I want to be when I grew up?" day, and Business day. I'm not much of a dress-up person, though. The W.I.W.L.W.D.I.W.T.B.W.I.G.U. day 'costume' could double as the Business day 'costume', since most game show hosts wear suits on the job. But because Pat Sajak, Alex Trebek and Regis Philbin look well into their 50s, it might be a hard one to pull off. I've got the white/grey hair though (or at least a streak of it, and no, it's not old age, it's most probably stress).
Does the title make sense now? No? Well, wiki it then! ("To wiki" is a verb I've been trying to get into the mainstream for quite some time now, the origin is fairly obvious).
Right! I think that's everything from last week. Keep checking back to CSU for more updates! Now on to procrastination...

What I'm watching: Procrastination, mixed with semi-animated post-it notes.
