Challenge Admitted

Boy, I must've predicted my holidays would be boring or something...

Well, technically, yes... since I have four assignments to do (one of which is due in a few days).

So to make it more interesting, I present... 25 goals in 400 hours!

25 Goals in 400 Hours
I took the liberty of calculating the time between the last lecture on Friday and the first lecture on Monday in a couple of weeks. The result was 403 hours. So it's not exactly true... but whatever.

I also wrote up a list of 25 I wanted/needed to do during the time I am back home. That averages out to about one goal every 16 hours. So to keep up the pace I'll need to keep moving. But that's part of the challenge.
I've decided that since most of my blog posts while I'm on holiday tend to be slightly dry, I'm replacing the content with updates on this two week event. Each week I'll recap the goals I've completed. What are they? Well, you'll have to wait to find out.

By the time you read this, 66 hours would've already ticked by, and all I have to show for it is a postponement.

#14 - Cycle to the Wellington Waterfront
In hindsight I should've remembered that my bike was back at the university.
The distance from home to the capital is around 50Km, and quite possibly longer if you travel by bike. So you'd be looking at around 7 hours for a one way trip. That was the plan, but...
Dad and Jennie are working during the break and the only weekend available is the weekend at the end of the holidays. And then there's the not-enough-bikes problem.
But people are eager to do this. During Summer. So it's been postponed. Keep an eye out for it in posts to come.

So after that riveting beginning to the holiday, 24 goals remain, with 337 hours left. More next week.

Secret Statistics
Yes, it's back! No, I didn't forget about it... it's just it was getting a little mundane with nothing happening... until now!

Ignoring the rather poor excuse to include that extra .5 from ages back the counter now stands at 4 and the question still remains - what am I counting?

This time the counter was incremented while I was watching some rather amusing documentary hosted by magicians about teen sex. And it took me completely by surprise... there was an auditorium of students and the camera just seemed to pan over one guy in particular... ok, I'm giving too much away.
No prize for first place, but if you have an idea or an inkling, leave it in the comments section.

Did that last line make me sound desperate for e-attention? Seems like whenever Ray Johnson talks about comments in his videos it sounds a lot more streamlined or something; I don't know...

Moving On!

The Last Word
The website this week... well, what can I say... it's one of those websites you'd never thought have existed. Maybe. Using "reverse-auditory-melodic-unstickification technology" this website will get any song that's stuck in your head, out of your head. Only problem is that you might be humming an entirely different one after a while.
And finally, thought Apple products couldn't get smaller? Think again.
