The Best 19th Birthday Ever

I am now in my last official year as a teenager. Don't feel any different though...

Apparently from the age of 17 downwards, birthdays start having less significant meaning (except for multiples of 10, of course). I was actually at home for the weekend, and after receiving a new Android phone I instantly fell in love with it. Not that the other presents were insignificant... I enjoy rather unique yet functional things, so a see-through calculator was an interesting find.

To be honest everything else that happened during the week gets blown out of the water incomparison to today. Let me recap:

So that was a little exaggerated. But no, really. The country has apperently been experiencing a cold snap, at the meteorologists call it, resulting in it snowing in Palmerston North. For those that don't know about it, it's an inland city that's practically at sea level. We had SO MUCH of it fall on campus grounds in the early evening, although after we saw specks of it at around 3 o'clock a group of us (including a girl called Brooke, who is exactly 1 day older than me) bundled into cars and drove off toward Woodville, couldn't find anything, got cheesecake, and came back to find absolute whiteness all over the ground.

*BREAKING NEWS* Upon typing this sentence, we are experiencing power surges and it just starting snowing again. BRB.

(48 hours of snow related news later)

So that was more of I break than I had originally anticipated. Oh well, another delayed post it is. And that's all, too... that was not worth the wait. Oh no wait, hang on... here come more words:

I guess the only thing that would've made this birthday any better would've been winning the $20 Million Powerball jackpot. Oh and also...

Approximately 2% of people that read this blog know that my spirit Pokémon is a Squirtle, and a further 83% of you out there believe made-up statistics. So I guess you could imagine how excited I was when I returned back to my uni room to find a mysterious plastic bag on my computer desk, containg none other than... [picture]

And now that's everything I wanted to say, not that I could say much this week since I've pretty much been in bed over the last few days with a sore throat and a voice that wants to leave but isn't.

YouTube Music Chart Top 20 - August 16, 2011
I've been putting some effort into maintaining a second channel providing nothing but a look into YouTube video popularity, otherwise known as YouTube7. Although I may have got too involved and made a spin-off. And here's this weeks episode, the top 20 music videos for the last week.
