Did You Hear The One About The Swans?

Baby swans are heavier than you think.

So during the weekend I found out something rather nature-geographic-y; apparently if swans decide to have a second clutch (or was it cling?... A litter? A group? Dispatch? Umm...) The first set of children are forced to move away, otherwise the Dad will kill them.

Well I guess that's one way to get your kids to move out.

Although the swans on campus are too used to students feeding them as they walk out of the dining hall, so a group of us had the pleasing task of relocating them to Hokowitu Lagoon, where canoeists can instead be terrorised by them.

So what else? Yikes it actually has been a slow week. Oh no, wait...

My friend from Germany (who came to my high school for a bit a few years ago) had recently graduated from his high school in like, April (lucky!); and as a present he got a plane ticket back over here. So I actually got to meet him twice, once back home when I went the other week, and again when he came up to Palmerston North. And for those tracking my personal social development...

I went to a bar *gasp*

...between 8-9PM on Friday *oh...*

One step at a time, people... one step at a time.

Also I've been looking through some of the older videos of back when some friends got along...
...that was way back in 2008 when our house hadn't fully finished renovating... I think. Well it was back before we moved, anyway.
