Current Status: Unemployed

Yep, I got rejected by The Warehouse for their Christmas positions. Sigh. Mind you, it is the furthest progress I've made into getting a job. Funny how most jobs don't accept you because you need previous experience, but that's why you needed the job anyway (apart from the money)?
All I wanted was a way to earn a bit of money before I head off to University in a few months, because I'm certain that a University lifestyle wont have time for a part-time job. I do some volunteer work at my college library at the moment, and that's quite nice; I get paid a $2 bar of chocolate each week, and it accounts for half of the week's sugar fix.

Now at this stage you're probably thinking that I should have been on the payroll or something. Like a college is going to pay a student for working there. They'd get the money back through school fees anyway.

I'll be trying a different approach next week: Go around to all the IT places and offer to work free for a day, or something like that. After all, I'm hoping to go for a Computer Science major at Massey, and I'm also part of the IT services group at college. I might be working free, but I might be able to learn a few things.

What I'm watching: Not your average a cappella group.
