A Second Post

Have you ever had that feeling when you wake up to your alarm, turn it off, then decide you want to sleep for longer, then wake up again, realise you've slept too long, and get out of bed so fast your head starts spinning?

Hi. I'm Louis, from the sunny reaches of the Kapiti Coast of New Zealand, and I'm here to say that it's a feeling where you want to be angry with yourself for this, but the general situation is that you only have 15 minutes to get ready, so you have to press on and fight the dizzyness if you want to make it out the door on time.

Yes, this happened to me this morning, and although I have a general dislike for the family cat "pusspuss", who has a talent for being seemingly anorexic, she served as a backup alarm today, knocking over a few boxes on her quest to find an invisible mouse in my room somewhere.

This, compared to previous mornings where my dad has had to wake me up twice, is all part of my "tranisition into independance", I presume. After all, I am going to university next year. I'd just like my alarm sound to be less like things toppling over.
