The leavers dinner on Wednesday night wasn't especially special, the 'awards ceremony' was just a micro-budget popularity contest, involving all the classmates you didn't really want to get to know, but you did anyway over the last 5 years, due to their socially outgoing attitude. And then you have my crowd: the complete opposite end of the social spectrum, we (or at least I) tend to stay out of the spotlight, for fear of getting burned. Hey, that's a good line! Has anyone taken that yet?
The awards don't really bear much need of getting mentioned here, unless this blog celebrates awards I definitely wouldn't win in
Sign out day: Peh. Get in, thank dean for great year and wish her well for the future, recieve yearbook and testimonial, get out. Not much to have a song and dance about.
Last night was the Waikanae Beach Ball (pun intended). Nice night, it's the time where everyone that does ballroom dancing in the region can get together for a night, have a dance, socialise, etc. Ooh! and we recieve our medal test results then too. Getting straight 85s isn't too bad, it just means I have something to improve on, but apparently my timing and flow is great! So now resting on our matelpeice are six shiny, new silver medals: a standard and latin medal for each of me, my dad, and dad's girlfriend.
More job hunting today - Although going down to Porirua gave more positive results. So now I'm waiting on three different places to call me while I'm in Napier tomorrow. Just my luck. Hopefully they'll ring my mobile, and I'll be waiting! Where's that pack of cards?
What I'm watching: Oh man, who hasn't seen this yet? Jim Henson's muppets do a cover of this classic Queen single.
