The Gamers' Dark Reality/The Decennial Depressionist Day

It's a little hard to face, but any person that's played on some sort of technology will tell you that whatever you're using isn't going to last forever. Mostly a problem for me, since now that I'm at univeristy, all the PS2 games left behind at home have become unusable, and thus getting rid of the only PS2 at home makes it even more of an issue.

End of Week One

So it's the end of the first week at Uni. It hasn't exactly started officially yet, so right now I'm just preparing for the lectures ahead. Although one thing to point out is that in the weekend there seems like there's less to do around here...

Day 3

It's great to see that I still have time to complete posts and that. But really, the first few days have been great; I met new people and have actually seen them again today, so hopefully I wont be losing them anytime soon.

First Impressions, Hoping to Last

So it's the first official night at Massey University. It's been a good day, and already my 3 year emotional rollercoaster has been set in motion.

So in less than 9 8 7 6 hours I leave for University. Honestly I don't know what to expect. But as always in life, first impressions are never what you get for the upcoming year. So far I've seen a big, scary campus with some friendly students willing to point you in the right direction. So, does that mean after two weeks it'll seem like a small compartment of some description packed tight with people much older than me that don't give a damn that you need to get somewhere? Hopefully not, and I admit that was a little exaggerated.

Catching Up with Lost Promises

I have a bad memory. Just about everyone I know knows this. I'm sure it's not a mental disorder or anything, but everyone has their faults, right? For example anyone notice how I said "see you Saturday" and the end of the previous post, even though today is Wednesday? Shocking.
So today I'm catching up on everything that I've promised on this blog, and a few other things in life as well.

One Week To Go

With only one week to go until University orientation, it's now time for the paranoia to set in - all those questions about what I'll need to do there that I've put off for so long are starting to re-emerge... and get answered.

Things That Make You Go Argh

After practically crashing out on the last two days due to getting home from work too late (we're talking 90 minutes to get a train from Porirua to P'Ram, people!), I've decided to move the Saturday posts to Sunday. Still, that's no excuse for posting on Monday, but I assure you if I tried posting last night I would still be asleep now.
