End of Week One

So it's the end of the first week at Uni. It hasn't exactly started officially yet, so right now I'm just preparing for the lectures ahead. Although one thing to point out is that in the weekend there seems like there's less to do around here...

But...

I need to manage time better.

Isn't it funny, how you say you're only going to do something for an hour, but you end up going to sleep at 1 in the morning? That's not exactly what happened yesterday, but I'm just a little concered about what would happen during the semester.

In other news, Harvey Norman Palmeston North is not looking for new staff unfortunately. But hopefully my student allowance will get me through the year, and hopefully the next two as well. Except for my student loan, I don't know if I'll be able to pay that all off in time. But that's saved for later.

This looks like it'll be a super short post today, but before I sign off, a little trivia: In all of the Winter Olympics before 2010, New Zealand has only won 1 silver medal. Here's hoping for this year!

The Weekend Watch
In a refreshing twist to previous posts, every Sunday I find a video I've found during the week and share it. Today we break the tradition of sharing YouTube videos (since noone seems to watch anything age-appropriate these days), and instead bring you this video about some Australian guy talking about the front falling off an oil tanker.
