Freeing Up Some Used Time

And we're back with another installment of my life. Great to see you again.

So today marks the 19th birthday of my friend Naoto, so first of all I'd like to extend my best wishes towards him for today and the year ahead, and I hope he's having a good time at University in Hyogo.

It comes to no surpise to people that I am one of those procrastinator types. Although I'd like to add that thanks to the help of Jennie's great free time and studying timetable, I'm feeling a lot less stretched for time to work on an assignment, and that's just great, because an unstressed me is a happy me.

Uh... right. So in sports our team lost volleyball again, however I'm pleased to say the results were comfortable with 18-21 and 19-21. Although that probably puts us around 5th out of the 8 teams, so it's nice to know were average... I think.

And this week I'd like to bring up some food for thought - has anyone ever noticed how sometimes if you learn a new word or term it seems to pop up more often than usual? I mean, I used the phrase "layman's terms" in a phone conversation with a local internet company and realised I didn't even know if that was the right thing to say, although over the course of the next week or so I saw it being used at least twice. Try it yourself - learn a new word with today's Mid-Week Website and see how much you can spot it in everyday use. You'd be surprised.

And from the "I can't believe that just happened" file, I'm pleased to announce that enough relatively embarrassing moments have occured for a second volume of "What Not to Do at University" to occur, expect that near the end of the month. But for now, enjoy this week's comic, enititled "How to do an assignment, the procrastinator way". Based on true-ish stories.

I often wondered 'bout this new word thing too. You could have taken this story out of my life, know that too.
