Now that I think about it, it hasn't been a spotlight but more like one of those flickering bulbs that you want to replace, but haven't yet because it needs to be ordered in specially from Sweden or some place. Now back to the show!

The 4th-or-somethingth revival of this blog...
a.k.a. My attempt at getting famous on the internet
Ta dah!
Ok, ok, I know it's just the old logo with a half-rushed MSPaint job... but it sucks not being able to use my laptop, and we'll get to that soon... but that's the logo I'm going with for the time being, and when I get the chance I'll come up with something better. Good? Good.
So in the last week approximately 20% of my regular viewership (i.e. 1 person) asked why I haven't done anything on this blog for a while. There are quite a few excuses reasons for this, and feel free to take your pick:
- Been busy
- Didn't have my laptop
- Nothing interesting to talk about
- Couldn't be stuffed
- Had other things that were more interesting
- Got distracted by something shiny
- Had other things that were more important
- Was sleeping
- Was contemplating something while looking at the back of the spoon
- Was Christmas shopping
- One Direction's new album came out
...you get the idea.
Regardless, I'm back without a vengeance to humbly insert more words and pictures into this part of cyberspace. Actually I was considering this metaphor on the bus ride home today:
This blog was like a lawnmower in which I needed fuel in the form of ideas for interesting topics to keep moving the lawn of... umm, keeping people interested... and at some point the lawnmower was only running on the fumes and stopped. Then I had to go buy more fuel or something and fill it up but didn't get around to turning back on again, and then more ideas or fuel or whatever came into the fuel tank of ideas until it got so full I considered buying a second lawnmower...
...that's about the point the metaphor started falling apart, actually.
So over the next couple of weeks, right through and past New Year's, hopefully... I'll be experimenting with a format that involves shorter posts more frequently, instead of the former opposite. And as soon as my laptop gets back from Asus with a fixed screen, there'll be better graphics and more updates on my 'more professional-like' blog, OneTwenty.
