Yesterday I finally managed to enrol for next year at Massey! It's recently been a struggle trying to pull this off; since I wanted to do a Science degree with a couple of Japanese papers, the two different departments don't think much of each other, resulting in lecture clashes. After numerous games of telephone tag, I managed to call up the right people, and it turns out that because I took Japanese for the last few years at college, I am allowed to take a 200-Level (second year) Japanese paper, which (bonus!) is extramural, which means no timetable clashes! So with that all sorted, here's what I am hoping to take in my first year:
- One Physics paper
- Two Mathematics papers
- Two Japanese papers
- Two Computer Science papers
- One Communication paper (no exam for this one!)
Tonight I have my leaver's dinner. It's actually in about an hour or two so I should really be getting ready. I have absolutely no idea who will be the recipients for the 'awards' that some of the head student team will be giving out, I'll try and post them here when I get more details. Tommorrow will be the sign out day, technically the very last day you see a Year 13 at our college. Unless they had to attend another year. Or didn't want to go.
Now here would be the end of this post, I'm going to try and extend it with this.
I've had iTunes for a couple of years now, and I must say it is so much easier to organise your music than with Windows Media Player. It's coming up to the end of the year, and as a quirky little thing I've decided to play the 500 most played songs in our family's library, twenty at a time, for the last 25 days of December, eventually finishing with the most played song at 11:59:59 on New Year's Eve. Kinda like a radio show, but without the ads and DJs continually talking until at least half a minute into a song. In order for my audience to see the type of music I (and my family) listen to, here are the top forty songs, in alphabetical order by title.

Where is Danny Kaye? Where are the Andrews Sisters? Cole Porter? The Ink Spots? Perry Como? What is wrong with you and your family?!
