Two weeks to exams. Four assignments too. Made another video. The usual.
For lack of better content I post this:
To the passengers on Friday the 20th's IC7001 service.
The person a few rows back; you must love your music a lot, and that's fine, considering it was laid back R&B it fit the whole night-time mood nicely.. but I'm sure there are some other passengers that would enjoy not having to listen to it while you are playing it out loud from your phone.
To the person behind me... you knew I was sitting behind you, yet you reclined back so much that I had around 8 inches from my nose to the back of your seat to fit my laptop. Luckily I could still type rather efficiently. But as for your neighbour, luckily only my laptop bag was behind him because if someone did happen to sit there they'd only have half the space.
And to the person behind me... yes, you can whistle. Good for you. But there are times where whistling in public is annoying, and the definition of such a time is when you are in a place where someone can leave the scene. A moving bus is not such a place. Plus, if you are going to whistle, can it be a song that doesn't feature 30-minute pauses between groups of three or four notes?
I admit the rest of my time this week has been put towards me getting excited over the slim possibility I will create a successful YouTube channel. Now that I think I have a hook that no-one's specifically doing, I may be on to something here. Or maybe I'm blinded by how fun this is?
Either way if it works well in the future I'll need something better to film with than my digital camera. I see a camcorder in my plausible future...
Here's the result of 48 hours worth (non-consecutive) of single-person effort over the last week and a bit:
...and possibly steps toward a better-structured weekly affair.
We'll leave things here for now.
The Last Word
Ok, to be a bit more specific, the video above was another entry into my 'vlog' collection, and since the counting-down-popular-youtube-videos concept seemed like a good idea at the time, it was repeated again for this month. Here's hoping next month is even better!
For a website, because I know it's been a while, I'm telling you about one I find very handy myself, as a frequent computer user. But it also has good use for those that don't have a clue what their friend just sent them in an email, let alone how to open it.
Which is why FILExt is handy to have around. It can tell you exactly what a certain file is by searching for the extension, and in most cases, how to open it.
Ok that's it... I'm out, and on the hunt for a good video camera in the future. For now.
