And The Results Are In... Part 6

Hey everyone! I'm back now after a much needed break from campus life... after relaxing a bit at home I'm getting back into the swing of things up here in Palmy.

So amongst all of this we're attempting to sell the house and move to a bigger house that's not too far away; becuase of this we had a few days where we had to completely stay out of the house for open days, and also a few, 15-minute-warning visits. But we've got a few people interested, so we'll see how that pans out.

And it was nice catching up with everyone else I know; since most of my friends from college went to Vic, Canterbury or Otago it's been a little hard to catch up, but after a few rounds of Rock Band it was straight back to all the weirdness and in-jokes.

I had a bit of time to suss out other technological-based things, like finalising some details on that website (client still hasn't got back to me), writing a bit more of my novel project, and cooking dinner for the family.

Ok, so that last one didn't fit, but if you've seen our family's 'digital' stove you'd think otherwise.

And it's been a good holidays in the sense that my results were pleasing.
In short:

  • B in Japanese (can do better)
  • A- in Physics (okay)
  • A in Linear Maths (really?!)
  • A+ in Statistics (!!!)

But boy is it ever winter. It's a completely different climate up here compared to the beach town of Paraparaumu, we've had a forecast or two saying the low was below freezing. Probably wasn't though, I've been coping fine enough with my room heater.

Had a hall meeting tonight, mainly about upcoming events and the like. Also a bit about becoming a residential advisor, which I'm interested in doing mainly because I think I could handle it, and I don't know how else I'll be able to pay for accomodation next year anyway.

Got a few errands to run in the morning tomorrow, so it'll be an early start. But for now there's nothing else to report, but it'll be interesting to see which one of my papers will be the surprising one this semester. But we'll see. The clock has re-started, and today is Day 109. Thanks for reading.

The Weekend Watch
Missing the regulars, huh? Fine. Found this one about building a song, although the clever thing with this one is that it's also a comedy routine. Take a listen/look.
