So an additional welcome to those of you that are reading this on Facebook for the first time, yes I have had a blog for a while and you can see what I've been up to over the last year or so by clicking the "See Original Post" at the bottom there to get my my actual blog page.
But I'd like to say that after trying out Facebook for a while starting Friday I've found it a pleasant experience. Facebook trial week continues until next Friday, but at this stage it's a lock for me keeping it. Just as long as I don't get too distracted with my multiple assignment fiasco over the next 7 days.
But now I'm 18. And in complete contrast to what usually happens (or so I've been told) I was not out partying to the point of not remembering what happened. And hopefully that wont happen, much to the disappointment to numerous residents here at Massey.
Having the family come up for lunch at Valentines was nice, it was good checking up my family in person, rather than by Skype, since the family's laptop turns itself off after it decides it's had enough of people chatting.
As usual we exited the building completely stuffed, and I made my back home after doing some quick grocery shopping to figure out where I would stash my 500 ten cent coins my sister gave me. Also I had to figure out where to put my cake, since we didn't have room to eat it at Valentines, but some friends popped over eased the issue my decreasing the overall volume taken up by the cake, although there's still some more left, and I actually ended up getting another cake from the same friends later, and it's yet to return back to my room.
It was hard to squeeze in dinner too, and after which I ended up not doing work and instead playing multiple games with friends until around one in the morning, when I back to my room and made the fatal mistake of getting distracted by turning on the laptop. So today I didn't get up until two in the afternoon. But that's what happens during the weekends I guess.
Facebook Trial Week - Day 3
...And still going strong. Nothing to complain about so far, it's great knowing there's loads of people out there that still know me (or at least know how to click "confirm as friend" without looking at who sent the invite). Plus I'm still getting birthday messages! Thanks guys (and girls).
The Weekend Watch
For those that don't usually read the blog posts to their enitrety, this is the place where I shove a video on YouTube that I find interesting or funny in some way. This week, an American commercial for body wash that has been proven incredibly popular over the last month, most probably for it's... uniqueness.
