Birthday Season 2010 - Too Much To Handle

So with the days left as a 17 year old entering the single digit range, funnily the emphasis is not a my upcoming birthday, but rather dealing with the absolute logistic nightmare of dealing with all the work due afterwards.

Not saying that my birthday is at the wrong time this year, but... well, yeah. It is.

In fact it's so bad I've had to start planning the next three days in advance.

But we're not going to try and dwell on that, I've already complained about my assignments enough this month. Which just leaves space for the following announcements.

Announcement 1 - The JASIG Project
In between lectures I've been dabbling in a bit of game coding in Adobe Flash. and right now I have an extremely beta version of a game I'm giving a go at - so before I give you the link to it I would like to say that it is in no way near completion and trying to claim Taito's property.
So I present to you JASIG - Just Another Space Invaders Game.

Announcement 2 - Turning 18 With a New Face (book)
Right now I'm thinking to myself, "Augh, self. Really?! You said you couldn't spend any more time on the internet, let alone *shudder* Facebook! What happened to being different?!"
And to be honest, that's true. But due to some nudging I am voluntarily signing up to Facebook for a one week trial, starting Friday.
However this does not mean it's a sure thing. I figured, "Well, I can't completely shun the usage of Facebook if I haven't given it a go", and besides It's not like I'm making any more friends (not even friends that are girls, wink wink nudge nudge) in real life, so let's take the social inept-ness online, shall we?
After a week I'll see if I can actually continue to use Facebook without going insane, and we'll take it from there. But hey, if it'll get more people reading my blog, then why not? An additional hello if you are one of those people that got forwarded here.

Announcement 3 - No I'm Not A Deranged Fanboy
I'm up to watching Episode 50 of the original series of Pokemon tonight! Woot! (Sonic X status: 11/78 episodes)

Announcement 4 - PS2 on Laptop: One step closer?
Yes it is - once I can find a resonable excuse to shell out $45 for a special cable, and complete my assignments on time.

Wolfram Alpha - Better than Google? Actually, I think it's a little hard to compare. Instead of searching for webpages, this search engine looks for answers. Hard to explain, but head on over, and take a look at some of the examples. Whether you want the moon phase on June 23 1991, the nutritional information of 3 eggs, or the name of the colour you get when mixing red, orange, burgundy and purple, this site can probably figure it out.
