Teen Amid all the extreme first aid training and residents not arriving in my designated hall, it's been a rather quiet week. Although next week will be spent learning the dos and don'ts of RA-ing, the last few days have been spent stocking up on $5 deals, and working out a suitable arrangement for room furniture. Did I mention that there were two? (rooms, that is)
The next concern of course is a twofer... firstly, what the heck are my group going to do about the RA talent show ('The X Factor'. Sheesh, how original.), and are the residents moving in next week going to be older (and taller) than me? Perhaps I'll just pretend that the hall really is haunted and... well, actually I don't know how that'll fix things.
Meanwhile today the sounds of 'Jazz and Shiraz' floated over the McHardy Oval into my window this morning. Actually no, sorry. I was enjoying afternoon tea to the sounds of 'Jazz and Shiraz', I was woken up by sounds of "Testing, 1, 2, 2". I felt like running over and proving that I could count better. No, not really.
To be honest I can't report on much else... so that'll be it for this week, unless I think of something later.
