The 2009 Christmas Special Spectacular!
Hi everybody! Me again. As if it would be anyone else. Just a quick post before I go to sleep. Although when I say quick that usually means it's gonna take more than an hour to type. Hey, there's a thought. Maybe I should take the time to see how long it actually takes to write a post. Not right now, though.

Some Completely Trivial, Gaming-Related Ramblings
I've noticed that it's been a while since I've done a completely gaming-focused post; and since I had nothing else to do tonight, why not? Let's begin.

Current Status: Exhausted, But Happy
I started work yesterday. It was very hard to create the illusion that I knew everything, so I turned apologetic and said "sorry" to everyone at least half a dozen times throughout the day. Here's how it went down.

And The Results Are In... Part 2
Intro to those that use HRWiki:
"In the shocking 20th episode, CSU turns the entire series on its ear. Will we ever see a number 21? Is the reign of long breaks between posts eminent? For the answers to these questions, be sure and check out this post." - Review Revue
Have fun spotting the references, guys!
Intro for everyone else:
Hi everyone! It's time to get the Vigintenni-post started! Drum roll please! (Feel free to ingore that other intro.)

From the Comment Section
After realising that it is difficult to add my own personal responses to coments left after posts, I decided to dedicate this special post to, quite simply, replying to some.

And The Results Are In...
I walked out of the college gates for (quite possibly) the last time on Thursday. *sniff* Are there any good things about this? Uh... I... have... more... time to look for a holiday job?

The Cop Out
Well it seems to have been a slow news week, so this post will probably be quite short. And here are the headliners:

KY's on the KC
Japanese pop culture lesson: KY stands for kuuki ga yomenai. It's a term used to describe someone that (literally) cannot read the current situation, i.e. a half-strength version of someone socially clueless... maybe. It doesn't have an official English translation, so that's the best I could come up with. You want examples? Sure.

Running Out of Time
Been a busy week. As if knowing my calculus exam is tomorrow was enough, I was having one of those times where I go through the discarded mail on my desk a few afternoons ago, and found out that the accomodation application for University was due the next day! Heaps more un-events has added to the fustration that can now be called "The week that was".

Buy 2, Get 1 Free! This Weekend Only!
Happy tenthpostaversary everyone! With our internet back up, this blog is now back on course. This weekend is Labour Weekend in New Zealand, it's kind of a oxymoron or something because Labour Day is a day where you don't go to work.

The Final (Exam) Countdown
Gah, it's so hard posting from my PDA. It'd be a lot easier if our computer's internet was working, but alas, it's not.

Happy Birthday Luke!
Today is my friend's 18th birthday. Man, time goes by so fast. It was only 7 or so years ago when I first met him. Now, we both go to different colleges, but we still keep in touch.

Time Flies When You Think You're Having Fun
Isn't it funny when the first week of the school holidays seems to go slowly, then the second week breezes by so quickly it's already Sunday? What's doubly confusing is when I seem to want to do everything under the sun during the school term but can't, then when the holidays come around, I'm stuck for ideas. Strange? Probably.

Attack of the Sander, and Gamers' Diseases
You know, it is really hard to concentrate on making a website when it sounds like your house is being attacked by giant bumblebees (really just Granddad sanding the side of the house).

Blind Following The Blind
About two days ago a construction crew finally finished building a new bridge across Matatua Road. It's quite a nice bridge, actually. It now has footpaths on both sides, and a small garden on the northern side that you can look at while admiring the, uh... well, it's supposed to be a river, but don't let the murky-brown colour fool you!

Current Status: Unemployed
Yep, I got rejected by The Warehouse for their Christmas positions. Sigh. Mind you, it is the furthest progress I've made into getting a job. Funny how most jobs don't accept you because you need previous experience, but that's why you needed the job anyway (apart from the money)?

A Second Post
Have you ever had that feeling when you wake up to your alarm, turn it off, then decide you want to sleep for longer, then wake up again, realise you've slept too long, and get out of bed so fast your head starts spinning?

Here Goes Nothing...
So I finally got the couarge up to begin a blog. Let's see how long this lasts...
No, really. I'm hoping this would be a good way to communicate with my friends around the world, talk about what's happening where i'm from, meet new people, yadda yadda...
Anyway, I'm just experimenting with features at the moment, once I recover from this damn headache i'll see if i can get around to writing a second post.
